Registration now open for Summer classes!

Here are the new classes which CREATE Arts Center offers this Summer in collaboration with the Montgomery County Department of Recreation:

"Sunday Studio w/CREATE"
For 4 to 6 year olds, 6 weeks from July 6th, Sundays from 10 to 11 or from 11.30 to 12.30.
"Cartooning w/CREATE"
For 8 to 13 year olds, 6 weeks from July 10th, Thursdays from 4 to 5.30 pm.
"Draw and Paint w/CREATE"
For 6 to 8 year olds, 6 weeks from July 8th, Tuesdays from 4 to 5.30 pm.
"Family Pottery w/CREATE (with adult)"
For children 6 yrs and up accompanied by adult, 6 weeks from July 6th, Sundays from 2 to 3.30 or from 5.30 to 7 pm.

All the above classes take place at CREATE Arts Center in Silver Spring.

You can still enroll for Wheel Pottery Classes in Kensington!

You can still enroll for the pottery classes which started two weeks ago (late enrollment will be prorated!). There's Pottery for Beginners for adults (Thursday nights) and Pottery Wheel and Hand Building for teens (Saturday afternoon). Both take place in Kensington. You will learn hand-building techniques as well as some throwing on the wheel, you will learn glazing and be educated about studio safety. Ten weeks.
