CREATE Arts Center offers afterschool arts enrichment classes throughout Montgomery County and nearby areas of DC.

Popular afterschool classes include Clay Works, Stone carving, Adventures in Art and Cartooning. Many other classes are available. We provide the teacher, all the materials and an exciting curriculum.

We offer 8-10 week sessions of one-hour classes that meet once a week (twice a week and 1.5 hour classes are also available). In order to hold a class we need a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 12 students. We are also able to run two groups of the same class simultaneously if there is sufficient enrollment

Tuition varies based on the number of classes in the session and the type of art material. Class fees range from $120 to $160 per child, which includes materials. We also offer one 50% scholarship for a child chosen by your school or PTA for every 10 paid students.

The school/PTA provides the space and handles registration and tuition collection. The classroom should be appropriate for art work and include a sink. Tuition payment may be made by individual checks from the students’ families (after collection by the school/PTA) or a lump sum payment from the school/PTA.

Last year, we taught afterschool arts classes at Sligo Creek, Woodlin, East Silver Spring, Pine Crest and Rock Creek Forest elementary schools, Pyle Middle School and even Glebe elementary in Arlington, Virginia.
